New Bandanas

Mom got a sewing machine last week. She finally got around to making us something. It is just a simple bandana, but she tells me she is "learning". I got a cool skull one and Jax got a picnic one (dad's words).

Once she decides to download all her photos, she said she would post pictures.

I also overhead that I get to go for a walk by the river again tomorrow!

Nice Long Walk

Mom and Dad decided to go for a walk today (with me of course!). They still haven't explored all the trails and walkways by the new house. Tonight they decided to go on a walk that went down by the river. They didn't know where they were going but it was fun!

We finally found our way back home, but it was a looonnnggg walk---1 hour and 45 minutes.

I, who dislikes water, actually went in. Some areas it was actually touching my belly, but I didn't care.

They also let me walk off leash between them on the trail in the woods. I'm naughty off leash so this doesn't happen very much!

It was a great walk and can't wait to walk the other trails in the woods!

Way Late Post

So Mom finally got pictures uploaded. So this post is from the 4th of July.

I am scared of fireworks, and the local doggie daycare emBARK (formally the Beastro) holds a 4th of July party for all the doggies that are scared of fireworks.

I went there for about 5 hours that night, during the time when the scary fireworks were going off. I had so much fun because it has been a while since I've been there.

Here is picture of me when we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's. I was super tired and the last lingering fireworks didn't even bother me!

What I Like to Do

You know what I do all day, besides when I not playing with my shaky mouse toys? SLEEP.

Lots of Visitors

We have had lots of visitors (human) recently. Mom's little sisters and friends were here for a week and how dad's little brother is here for the weekend.

I (Duke) enjoyed all the extra attention and treats I got. While Jax enjoyed it but got a little scared. I also overheard the humans saying a few times that Jax was meowing and walking all over them when they slept. Naughty Cat.

I Like Bugs

We (Duke & I) were back at the grandparent's this weekend for the holiday. On Sunday, I was minding my own business and then a bug strolled in my way. Of course, I had to play with it and try to eat it. Duke, being lazy, had no idea what was happening.

Below are pictures of me taking care of business. Mom finally picked it up with napkin so I couldn't eat it. Boo.

I know that cats like to sleep in interesting places, but is this really comfortable?

This is how he was sleeping for at least an hour.

Going back to my parent's tomorrow, so another interesting car ride with the cat that cries the entire way....
